Tuesday, pre-market, I alerted AUCI. AUCI was actually originally alerted on February 3rd. You can find it in the archive of the blog. It was alerted then at .0021 and opened this morning at .002.
The cause for the alert was a news release stating that Car Help, USA had submitted an unsolicited buyout bid to Auctions, International (AUCI), for .10 per share. This was huge news and the stock pps responded accordingly, travelling as high as .0124. We exited at .012 for a 470% gain on this play.
This just so happened to be right before a mid-afternoon, follow-up news released came out rescinding the bid for buyout. Of course, this news sent the stock plummeting right back down to where it closed at .003, which is still over 40% above where we entered, so even if you waited til the last minute to exit, you still got out with a 40% profit.
SNRS proved itself to be a dangerous play again, just as it has been so many times in the past. With the amazing news that was released over SNRS and their new connection to Apple, you would think this stock would skyrocket, especially with volume in the billions of shares. However, this stock never rose above .0003 all day, which incidentally did provide opportunity, several of them in fact, for a 50% profit gain.
In the future, SNRS will not be alerted here as long as either the Market Makers or the company continue to play games with this stock holding down the pps even amid such fantastic circumstances.
